John Deere 2038R – Compact Tractor

This Final Tier 4–compliant engine provides strong torque (77.2 lb-ft / 104.7 Nm), excellent fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications.

The tractor features a hydrostatic transmission (HST) with standard cruise control, offering smooth, precise speed control and effortless forward/reverse operation. Power steering, wet disc brakes, and a differential lock ensure confident handling, traction, and safety across varying terrain conditions.

Hydraulic performance is a standout strength of the 2038R. With a dual-gear hydraulic pump delivering a total flow of 35.2 L/min (9.3 gpm), the tractor provides responsive steering and strong implement operation. The Category 1 three-point hitch offers an impressive lift capacity of 1,356 lb (615 kg) at 24 inches behind the link arms, allowing compatibility with a wide range of attachments.

The independent PTO system supplies 30.4 hp at the rear PTO (543 rpm) and 1,998 rpm at the mid PTO, supporting mowers, loaders, tillers, and other powered implements. An available AutoConnect™ mid-mower deck up to 72 inchescan be installed or removed in under five minutes, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.

Operator comfort and visibility are enhanced with a marine-grade high-back seat, tilt steering wheel, semi-flat operator platform, and standard LED headlights and fender lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Safety features include a foldable ROPS that meets ASABE standards.
